Expedia: Hotels, Flights & Car App Reviews

Just posted about the latest update anonymously on Spout and Ill probably post about it on FB as well. I Love this app.

This app is easy to use (the features are simple and easy to find). Also the prices that listed from airplane tickets to hotel are always lower compare to other travel app.

11/30/16 update--developers, please update the version history information so we know if we need to download the new version or not. My latest finding is that many times, the same hotel/room prices on the app is higher than on their website. I am Expedia +Gold and the base hotel rate not using my points is many times higher on the app compared to the website. Expedia pushes app usage by awarding more Expedia+ points if booked through the app. Now Im finding that those extra points are negated by the higher cost. Very shady!! ----------------------------------- This app is way too limited in functionality to be useful. I couldnt find a way to to book business class among other obvious features an app from a company of this size should have. While searching for flights, it doesnt give you enough search filters--the very basic ones being nonstop only and price range. Too many features wanting to list all here. Expedia has always have had very limited features from the launching of this app but they dont seem to want to improve. Its been years and they still dont have very basic features. I may have to move to another companys app that offer more functionality and ease of use.

Dont store your information in the app! I got hacked and Expedia wouldnt cancel the trip someone booked using my account.

The best app

App design is great but can also be improved. When booking a flight it needs to have an option for those that want only one way flights. The current way of booking one way flights is just not to select a return flight. However that is not clearly stated anywhere during the booking process so it leads to confusion. When selecting the departure airport if you already know the airport codes and you input the departure and arrival airport code the app does not let you continue into the "search" until you select the airport for that code in a drop down. If there is only one code per airport why do you still have to select the airport from a drop down that only contains the airport with the corresponding code? If cards are stored it does not give you an option of viewing the last four digits of your card. So if you have multiple cards saved it only shows names of the cards and no other way of knowing which card is which. During the final booking process the details of "your trip" is shown on the left of the screen however it does not show details of the flight such as what airport youre departing from, and layover information. All it shows is your destination city. So if you want to confirm once last time you have the right departure airport you have to hit the "back" button to confirm but in doing so you loose any information you inputted in the final booking prior to finally making the purchase. So you have to start all over.

Love Expedia and love the app. Easy to use and lowest price!

So convenient to use and by far the best deals. Dont know what Id do without it!

Terrible - thinks Im not connected to internet when I really am. I put in city and dates for a hotel, then tapped Search, then app gave connection error instead of searching. I tried several times. I was able to write this review so obviously connected.

Unable to bundle flight,hotel and transport. And the newest update crashes the app before it opens,so you are unable to open the app at all.

Doesnt have all the features on the website.

This was an amazing surprise to have an app this user friendly. Simple steps short and sweet.

Shouldnt have to take over an hour to change a flight.

Please add Function "Flight+Hotel" in App Thx.

Works great and fast. Keep it that way.

Its a shame the iPad version still lags behind the iPhone version in features. The app used to be far better, but at the moment it looks really nice, but is so infuriating to use I just switch over to the web page instead. I want the app to remember my home airport, my airline preferences, and be able to book hotel+flight like the website, but you cant so the total price takes far longer to figure out.

The app is about useless. No way to do advanced searches, filter for just business class or first class. No way to access your saved searches. Not good.

Easy to use phone app - intuitive. Use it often, never a problem. I like how it gives user option to apply Expedia credits.

I think its pretty good and efficient!
